What Is Kindred Spirits About?
The team dives headfirst into the underbelly of America's most haunted locations to solve mysteries, appease tortured souls and confront aggressive entities. Frightening stories of paranormal disturbances have ramped up across the country, sending this paranormal trio to help distressed homeowners and explore historic sites. At each stop, they discover the dire consequences of leaving these dark mysteries unsolved.
In the season premiere, the investigators travel to Greene County Historical Society and Museum, a former poorhouse in Pennsylvania. For nearly 100 years, the institution was said to be a safe haven for the impoverished and disenfranchised. But, in reality, it was run more like an asylum. In the 1890s, a cruel and sadistic overseer named William B. Cage took over the institution. He was known to beat the inmates and he was even accused of chaining individuals in the basement rooms where he allowed them to starve as punishment for minor infractions. Interestingly, all of the inmates who made these reports disappeared from the records. Were they sent away, did they move or were they permanently silenced by Cage is uncertain. When the knowledge became public, Cage was removed. In 1968, the facility reopened and became a cultural center. Today, employees and guests report unexplained footsteps and many have witnessed full-bodied apparitions. Does William Cage or troubled inmates still walk the halls? Bruni, Berry and Coffey investigate multiple locations on the site, including the basement where shackles can still be seen, in hopes of resolving the pains of the past.

Kindred Spirits is by far the best show in this genre. If the Travel channel wants to save money, get rid of some of the other shows where the investigators are less than professional in their ghosthunting demeanor. Hosts who provoke, act confrontational and behave like silly, scared kids are not what I enjoy watching.
Very excited about another season of Kindred Spirits with Amy Bruny and Adam Berry. They are very down to earth and appear to want to determine which is paranormal and debunk what isn't. That's impressive to me. They are the one of the top f9ut favorite paranormal groups. They are one of my top three paranormal groups.
Best paranormal show. They really do try to help resolve the issue for the client instead of just coming in and recording, telling people they have a problem, and should leave or seek help. They actually try to help. They are not so much about them, and sensationalism but actual help.

I really hope this show is renewed. Amy and Adam seem to genuinely care about the people they are trying to help. They approach things professionally and aren't into swearing or fakery that other shows of this type display.
Kindred Spirits is one of the very best paranormal programs out there. They offer a unique approach of kindness and empathy towards both the living and deceased. They help both the living AND the dead ( the dead are people too) If the nitwits in charge of renewing/picking the show back up, see fit to cancel Kindred Spirits, they will be losing a great amount of viewers, which means they will lose money. However, the bottom line here is they need to keep the good programs on, they have cancelled way too many paranormal programs recently…..

My family & friends are waiting for Season 8, hoping it will be soon. There are no shows like it being aired right now, some have been canceled, others have not committed. We love your show, the way you research the locations & families, and don't just make snap judgment or believe "the stories" being told. You care about the human spirits happiness, too. We miss you.
Travel channel will be making a big mistake not renewing Kindred Spirits. It’s one of the best shows on along with Dead Files and any new shows with Jack Osbourne. Cancel these shows and you lose me as a viewer.
Kindred Spirits gets 5 stars. Friends & family are chewing at the bit for more. WE WANT MORE!!! Amy Bruni, Adam Berry and Chip are fearless investigators and very respectful in their communication tactics unlike “other ghost shows” that taunt and are disrespectful . Please, please RENEW KINDRED SPIRITS. We 💕 them.

My family loves the show
I'm a rescue medium as well as a psychic and mediumship development mentor and I think kindred Spirits is the most realistic of all the Paranormal TV shows.
It seems to be the only one that tries to keep it as real as possible each new season unlike the other shows who are going more for the demonic entity stuff just to keep the ratings up and stay on the air.
Kindred Spirits has kept things real consistently from the first show through this last one. And it's the only one I recommend for people to learn about paranormal investigations.
I Love Kindred spirits. I've been watching Amy and Adam for years, they are great. So hope they will come back this year!!!
