What Is Girl Meets Farm About?
Cookbook author, food blogger and Midwest transplant Molly Yeh embraces her country life and makes dishes inspired by her Jewish and Chinese heritage -- with a taste of the Midwest, too.
Yeh is the author of three cookbooks, including her debut cookbook in 2016, Molly on the Range. She followed that with Yogurt and Home Is Where The Eggs Are: Farmhouse Food for the People You Love Most. She is also the creator of the food and lifestyle brand my name is yeh. Outside the kitchen, Yeh is a Juilliard-trained percussionist and has performed with orchestras around the world, in off-Broadway theatre, and as the glockenspielist for the pop-band San Fermin. She has received both a Daytime Emmy® Award-nomination for Outstanding Culinary Host and a James Beard Award-nomination for Outstanding Personality/Host for Girl Meets Farm. Yeh is repped by Verve, who brokered the deal with Food Network.
Molly Yeh has inked a two-year exclusive deal with Food Network, which will include more episodes of her Midwest-inspired cooking show Girl Meets Farm.
Girl Meets Farm is up 7% in ratings among the ad-friendly 18-49 demographic, averaging a 0.6 in live+three-day viewing numbers, according to Food Network. Girl Meets Farm airs Sundays at 11 a.m. ET/PT in the network’s ‘In the Kitchen’ (ITK) programming block.
Production on new episodes of Girl Meets Farm began in March 2023.

Girl Meets Farm is one of my favorites. I hope it continues. It was disappointing to see a different show in Molly’s usual time slot today – I would prefer reruns of her previous episodes!
Molly Yeh is an exceptionally pleasant and knowledgeable food show host. Girl Meets Farm is a breath of fresh air compared to the other shows (yawn) that have been aired on FN way too long. When Molly is preparing any recipe, she smoothly includes hints without obviously teaching. Unlike many of her colleagues, Molly’s voice is well modulated, showing her respect for her audience and the objective of the show. Molly Yeh along with Mary Berg are refreshing additions to what has become an increasingly stale Food Network lineup.
It's not enough that there' s a there a whole network for everything Joanna Gaines? Just show reruns of Molly's show.

Girl Meets Farm is one of my all time favorite cooking shows! Yes, Molly is sometimes silly, but she's always upbeat and fun. The mixture of Chinese, Jewish, and Midwestern cuisines is interesting, and, most importantly, the recipes I've tried have been very good! I certainly hope her show is renewed!

Not a fan of Molly’s show or recipes. I don’t cook with “sprinkles” and I prefer grown up recipes not “cookie salads.” I def won’t be broken hearted if she does not return. I’ve only tuned in a hand full of times in the past and wouldn’t be watching if this gets renewed anyway.

I only started following her last year and have watched all of her seasons twice. I hope her show continues. She is very charismatic and her recipes are delicious and easy to follow. I have all 3 cookbooks and I'm so sorry I missed her cookware at Macy's. I hope her show continues for a long time.
I absolutely adore Molly Yeh. She is so quirky, cute & refreshing. My whole family & I enjoy watching her show & her recipes are fun & look amazing. I honestly hope they bring her back. My weekend is always Girl meets Farm & I look forward to it. Reruns would definitely be great in the meantime. So disappointed to see Joanna Gaines in Molly's time slot. I agree that she doesn't need to be on food network, she has her own. Plus, her cooking show is just really boring to watch. Please bring back Molly!!! I totally agree regarding Valerie, too. Valerie & Molly are the best! I'll never understand why food network always takes off an amazing show to replace it with one that's just, bleh. Makes no sense!
