What Is Garage Squad About?
"Garage Squad" rescues weekend mechanics who perhaps lack the time, resources or simple know-how to get their "project" autos road-worthy again.
MotorTrend announced the addition of Bogi Lateiner, an ASE master certified technician and host of ALL GIRLS GARAGE, to the GARAGE SQUAD team. Bogi joins as co-host alongside National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) driver Bruno Massel and lead mechanic Joe Zolper who are now in their 8th season as co-hosts of the series.
As a young woman Bogi pursued automotive repair as a career, becoming an ASE master certified technician and custom car builder. Her passion for empowering women through auto repair led her to found Girl Gang Garage, a unique auto shop whose purpose is to encourage and champion the entry and advancement of women within the automotive and skilled trade industries.
“I’m excited to join GARAGE SQUAD, which is all about changing lives one car at a time,” said new GARAGE SQUAD co-host Bogi Lateiner. “I’m looking forward to helping make dreams come true by getting some amazing cars back on the road and providing real tips for viewers to use on their cars at home.”
In each episode the GARAGE SQUAD comes to the rescue with a team of highly trained mechanics and experts who take over a car owner’s garage with the goal to transform their stalled project into an automotive dream ride. Across America, countless car aficionados have bought a less than perfect version of their dream car hoping their amateur mechanical chops would return that lackluster ride to glory, but are short on knowhow, time, money, and the right tools. Fortunately, the GARAGE SQUAD is always up for doing what it takes to bring joyful tears to even the most hardened car owners.
New episodes of GARAGE SQUAD stream Thursdays beginning October 14 on the MotorTrend App with episodes airing one week later on MotorTrend TV starting Wednesday, October 20 at 10 PM ET/PT.

I think it's one of the best car shows on TV I don't know what I'm going to do if you cancel the damn thing it's not right to cancel something that's so good especially now during these times when people can use them
Great show, I'm happy to see you helping ex-military, first responders and just needy people with their cool car projects. I enjoy their stories and the technical information of their rides. I have a 69 SS 396 Nova that is new to me so I know what the squad and owners have to deal with. Best of luck.
Is Garage Squad still helping redo vehicles. I have a 1976 Bronco that has been in the garage for 30 some years. I am a veteran and I need help to get it restored. It is in good condition but needs rewiring.
I have loved garage squad, however I don't watch the episodes with Bogi in them. I think she is a little too silly. and her laugh grates on my nerves. I know other people have other opinions, but I also know that many have the same opinion. The above article sounded like a sales piece on Bogi, well find someone else and I will start watching again.
I love all the great info I glean from the Garage Squad series episodes. Each of the participants add so much knowledge, and do it with a touch of humor that we all can use at this point in time. Thanks

I think garage Squad is one of the best car shows that's been on TV please bring it back on it's one of the most enjoyable car show own TV!

I love Bogi but her constant giggling after every single comment is a little grating. Thank you for getting rid of Christy Lee, all she did was self promote and detract from the show. I hope the show continues with less giggling from Bogi.

Since garage squad is one of my favorite shows if it’s canceled I intend to cancel my motor trend subscription there is nothing left I like all other programs were canceled
Love the show. I have a rotary-based 87 Mazda RX-7 that wouldn't start one day 20 years ago, and it's been in the garage since while I raised the kids. Just cleared the engine bay to see if I can get started, but it appears to be tough going as parts will be hard to get and the few shops in the area that worked on rotary engines have shuttered due to Covid; so I would appreciate any help.

I am addicted to garage squad so are 4 others in my family and I also want it to return, it helps people that really need help and puts quality cars back on the road. I was an avid car nut owning a 32 full custom when I was 17 and now 76 years old and guess who helped me build my 32, non other than jungle jim lieberman when he was just a mechanic for goodies speed shop in san jose california I believe it was 1964-65 !!! I also have a grand son who has had a working relationship with building a 1969 mustang fast back but has no time or money to finish it ! Thanks and hope it returns for 8 more years !

we have a 67 camero in our garage. We bought it when my son was 4 . He now is 27 years old. It is apart. We bought all brand new parts just waiting to be done. It has been my husbands life time dream car. My husband now found out he has prostrate cancer. We are looking to surprise my husband. We love watching your show.
It would be a real shame and a big mistake of motortrend to not renew this program. It's really one of the best shows they have and one of the main reasons I subscribe to MT. Already lost fantomworks and overhaulin and if this one goes I might just follow them down the road.
I would love to submit our hot rod. We have a one owner 1954 Chevy – it’s been restored, but we have some mechanical issues we can’t seem to solve. This car was owned by my great-grandmother and was gifted to my husband in 1999 by my Grandmother. I would love to get it completely repaired so we can get “Irene” back on the road.
I truly believe that the program Garage Squad should remain , it’s one of the most entertaining car fix programs on the air , down to earth everyday people who’s skill level isn’t as good as they think , and you guys swoop in and put together a plan and in weeks time have the vehicle up and running , so what you see is what happened in the build . Have never missed a episode and want it to continue

I truly enjoy this show. They fix cars for deserving people, and they do it for a reason. I've been a car nut for over 50 years, and I always learn a thing or two. I hope this show stays around as long as the crew is up to doing all that work.
Love garage squad. After losing fantom works there were not a lot of shows that I really liked except for garage squad and one or two others. Not sure I would keep my sub if the garage squad goes off. I don't think MT is going to lose a good show. Hopefully, we will hear soon.
