The network’s highest-rated series returns for more metal miracles from the incredibly talented, visionary team at Ekstensive Metal Works in Houston. For more than two decades owner Bill Carlton and the team have built a reputation for giving customers exactly what they want. Whether it’s tricked-out trucks with wild hydraulics or facelifts for classic muscle cars, Ekstensive Metal Works does restorations, rebuilds, metalwork, paint, interior or accessories bigger and better.

One of my very favorite shows , is canceled this definitely got to be a mistake this is one of the better shows out there why it’s canceled is confusion , very good family atmosphere automotive shows out there ?!!!!

Texas Metal is hands down the best car/truck rebuild shows EVER!! Why would you cancel it? People love it!! Makes no sense at ALL. I'm so disappointed if this is true. You have air time for a bunch of scripted reality shows that are so fake it insults your intelligence but not a great true reality show? SMH!! bring it BACK!!!!
I live in Australia and watch this show on Foxtel. I agree, it is simply the best programme for the skills, professionalism that you and your crew display in every episode. I'm an old fitter and turner/welder so when I view the way you approach each challenge and end up with the finished product just blows me away. We're currently getting reruns at the moment which are still great. Good Luck I hope what ever the problem is, gets sorted out and we can all continue to watch a fantastic show
Great show, no drama just hard working guys with tremendous talent and vision.
Dump the garbage like RoadKill and some of the other nonsense and keep shows like Texas Metal.
Texas Metal is the most genuine auto show on Motor Trend if you ask me, I can't believe that it has been cancelled. Maybe just for now because of the pandemic, this show will definitely come back, it's just that good. Either way they are the most detailed in building new creations.

I believe that what the viewers want is for you to show the depth of the build especially when a project is featured over several episodes.

I love this show and all the craftsmen. Bill is a 'poboy' done good and deserves all the good that comes his way. I'm a big fan.
Ekstensive Facebook page dated 8-15-20 says they are filming season 4 and they posted a pic so you should probably update your post.

This is crazy. I never really cared about cars. Watching Texas Metal was so interesting that I really got into it. They build the coolest vehicles I’ve ever seen. Big mistake!
I don’t get it. I just read that Texas Metal was cancelled. I left a comment stating that I was disappointed. As soon as the page refreshed, it has been renewed. Did I do that? Ha
Really sad. Texas Metal was one of my favorite shows. Being from the Houston area I would also see familiar streets and landmarks. I recently ordered an Ekstensive T shirt from them with the Texas flag and Houston on it. I still want to visit the shop.

Having a restoration shop of my own, Texas Metal is by far the most talented group of guys on Motor Trend! They constantly out engineer, fabricate and design any of the other shows on the air! I learn new processes on every show I watch, which is every episode!
Why is it that you can use spray paint and armature welding and "build" cars and trucks and have a shop? Unbelievable to me
I am watching your show now had never watched it before. I am a senior citizen, great grandma, grandma and Moma divorced on a fixed income I would love to have my truck done because I love my truck and it needs some work please consider me.
