What Is Bad Chad Customs About?
The show documents Hiltz’s unique, resourceful style of creating legendary, low-budget custom cars using ordinary materials and scrap metal.
In rural Canning, Nova Scotia, sits a modest auto body shop whose proprietor has built a legendary reputation. He’s known in town as a custom car artist “who can build a Bugatti out of a chicken coop,” a neighbor says. Now, Chad Hiltz, aka “Bad Chad,” is ready to expand his horizons, helped in no small part by this series that airs across North America. It shows how Hiltz incorporates literally anything into his car builds — parts from boats, airplanes, even old lockers — and uses basic tools and lots of ingenuity. Isolated and cash poor, Chad’s creations spring from a mind that never stops. If he can imagine it, he will find a way to build it. The series also features, among others, Chad’s shop manager and fiancee, Jolene, and son Colton.

Sometimes tough love is the only way to get a point across. How Chad works with his son in order to teach the business is nobody's business but his own. Brad is a genius, his builds demonstrate an exceptional talent.
im not surprised if discovery dropped BAD CHADS TV SHOW, his son worked so hard for him and chad put him down in front of millions of viewers, and his cars dont seem safe, ex. in the bubble car the driver would roast on a hot day, windshields with no wipers, the yellow pinto he made was a joke, terrible quality

Any body can do what joe Marten does but not any body can do what chad does and quit telling people how to raise their children. I think he's doing a very fine job he's teaching the boy a lot in short amount of time I've watched all the car bilders CHAD HILTZ hands down is the best ive ever seen.ive worked with Blue ribben builders it takes a creative bind something a hater can't understand.
I hope Discovery channel opens their eyes and brings Chad back soon. His vision is truly unique and his cars are show stoppers!
I would prefer to watch someone who uses their skills and brains to their full extent and build one of a kind .
Love the show his designs are not like the other run of the mill car shows..they are sweet!! He is very honest about his builds..I hope they bring him back…i may not watch Dicovery any longer!!!!!!!

great show, great skills…. not the nicest show quality cars im use to..but very entertaining.. an hes a true fabricator.. he teaches his son well..i think his sons gonna be better for the way hes being taught.. im a body guy fabricator , painter ive worked in 6 shops in my life thats my experirnce 30 years. his son gets a crash course in everything in a year or two hel be green but hel have the badics an probably in 5 be as good as most.. wisht i had a pop to teach me.. anyways killr show an chad keep on keepn on.. come back season 3.. i wont have nuthn to watch if you dont except ghost adventures dont build cars..lol god bless…

There's something not quite right with this guy… in an uncomfortable, scary way.
